Martide
Product Design
Over the years, we have finalised the design of all sections of the application, and incorporated and thoroughly tested several new features. We also successfully implemented a new UI Kit, component library, and websites. These successes have been crucial in securing contracts with over 10 industry leaders, ultimately providing jobs for many seafarers.

Martide's all-in-one platform is designed to help shipping companies recruit and manage crews, suppliers advertise their services and seafarers find work at sea. As a B2B application, it has a complex structure and needs to be user-friendly for agents and employers.
About
Over time, the app has undergone significant growth. Initially a modest startup with a limited set of features, it evolved into a comprehensive platform capable of managing all aspects of recruitment and service processes. This led to the gradual addition of new features, resulting in some chaos in architecture and design as each feature overlapped with the existing structure.

Martide app is a B2B application. One of the big challenges we faced was to optimise the transition for employees who were accustomed to working with Excel sheets. Our challenge was to offer a more user-friendly interface to ensure a smooth and error-free transition from the previous system.

Rather than surveying users to find out their preferences, we proposed a collaborative effort to change and improve the interface. Following the release of each new feature, I held video conferences with the client's key managers, allowing for direct feedback and alignment with specific requirements.
In addition to our main audience — HR companies — we also wanted to provide a convenient platform for seafarers looking for a job. For this purpose, we developed a simple mobile application. With it, seafarers could easily apply for a job, track the hiring process, and confirm business trips, ensuring a smooth start to their new job.
With over 20 primary sections within the application, I organized my design files systematically. This approach ensured that all developers could efficiently locate the files they needed.
